Engraphis 1.6: trusted imports and deterministic sync
Engraphis 1.6 advances the v2 engine through schema 16 with a more trustworthy path from local source material to durable memory. It adds source-aware document and Obsidian imports, deterministic sync state, tighter trust boundaries, and stronger evidence around both agent guidance and releases.
What changed
- Trusted local imports. A dependency-free document importer handles Markdown, text, structured files, office documents, EPUB, and source code with strict previews, bounded reports, resumable manifests, temporal re-import history, and explicit conflict choices.
- Obsidian vault support. The offline importer keeps source lineage and re-import history, excludes unsafe paths, and uploads only note bytes plus content-free attachment manifests through the trusted-owner dashboard flow.
- Deterministic sync state. Schema 12 through 16 add erasure markers, hybrid logical clocks, source manifests, temporal lineage, adapter/job integrity, and exact session binding for repeatable synchronization.
- Tighter trust boundaries. New user-scope writes fail closed until they carry immutable owner identity, private configuration is loaded only from owner-private locations, and document or Obsidian runs are bound to one-time, session-bound previews.
- Write-free inspection. Read-only Store inspection now uses read-only SQLite paths and rejects missing paths or active journals before opening state.
- Stronger evidence. Agent guidance is synchronized with the live tool surfaces, and evaluation and release evidence is tied to deterministic, checksum-bound fixtures.
Why this matters
Importing a folder is easy; importing it safely, repeatably, and with a history of what changed is the real product boundary. Engraphis 1.6 makes local sources inspectable before they become memory and keeps their lineage visible after they do.
